WHATS WRONG WITH MY INLAND TAIPAN????? Bad News...
Inland Taipans are not only the most venomous snake in the world but they are also one of the most relaxed and best to work with. In this video however, my favourite inland taipan, Steve is not doing well and the chances of him surviving isn't looking good.

I feel bad for the taipan :(....... I really pray for him to recover..... poor guy, may god bless him
Did Steve ever recover? By the way I love watching your videos, and this right here is the reason why the inland taipan is one of my most favorite snakes in the world. For as powerful as their venom is... they are very chilled out snakes.
Was this a neurological problem?
At the 9:23 mark the snake spooked himself when his own head bumped into his body. Something def isn't right :(
Get well Steve 🐍🐍❤❤
I think your snake was not metabolizing calcium properly, probably related to vitamin D issues. Lightning issues maybe?
Maybe he’ll actually meet the Steve Irwin
Kinking occurs in wild.. more often than u think.. I have seen a couple.. and some in captive with morphs... ranges from genetic defects.. to vitamin d... sad..sorry for this.
Maybe spontaneous tuberculosis. Sorry for your loss.
Would NEVER have guessed this guys hero was Steve Irwin.. Poor little guy! Sorry about the snake 😔 I know how much you truly love them Dingo!
#GoodLuckSteve I love how much Dingo cares for his snakes, he's an awesome guy! I hope Steve is alright. He seems awesome.
Ive watched uncle dingo long time now think 7 years and he looks very sad sorry uncle dingo
Stevie my boi dont die on us
This is kak bru I wonder what’s wrong 🥺 he’s so cute
Is he doing better?
what happened in the end, Steve recover?
I hope that steve gets well very very soon
Love from India❤️ for your favourite boy🐍
Poor Steve. I’m so sorry for your loss. Sheila will make him proud. We know that she is getting just as much love as Steve is.
I'm so sorry for your loss !!! I just had to put my dog down due to a all over sudden neurological issues. Her brain couldn't communicate with her body movements anymore. I've been crying ever since and it was from one min to the next. She was fine before I laid down to take a nap and I woke up and saw her struggling 😩 Looked like she had a stroke, but sadly that wasn't the case and had to put her down. My thoughts are with you ❤
By bless Steve
Sorry Dingo- poor Steve, so beautiful 😿😿😿
My heart goes out to you buddy. You give me the same feelings as the great Steve irwin. Stay strong Buddy.
My favorite ball Python Urbilina died after the same type of ordeal she slowly lost strength and there was nothing I could do because it happened so fast and it was devistating she had such a good personality and beautiful cinnamon morph her scales were almost pearlescent rainbow like and it's always sad losing your favorite in your collection it leaves a mark on your brain and heart that you look for in every other other snake but there's so much bonding when you are the one they rely on for everything and have a mutual understanding that you aren't going to hurt eachother although each of you has the ability to break that trust but snakes aren't always bonded to humans but sometimes there's one that you know by their eyes and demeanor they literally love you and to see you . And then you always have the asshole snakes that don't even need provoking to strike it makes the ones that love so much more enjoyable to connect with
every animal is beautiful.
As an Aussie who grew up on the Darling Downs, Queensland, I am grateful to you and all other snake hobbyists who cherish our native animals like you do. Thank you. Steve would thank you.
Snakes are fascinating creatures but I like to see them OUTSIDE.
Did it poop? Might be constipated
So sorry Steve is sick
Bro I am so sorry I lost my Bird a few days ago and watching your videos save me so thank you u are amazing hope he gets better blessings to you and him
Praying for Steve, get well soon steve....Dingo you are awesome nice buddy....God bless you 🙏
You should phone Emily Roberts. She had a lot of kinks with her snakes
Im genuinely terrified of snakes but this makes me sad
I had a rabbit when I was younger that I loved with all my heart and one day I woke up to her dead body so I know how hard this can be for dingo
Dingo I'm very sorry
As I'm writing this comment I'm aware that Steve has since died. I'm sorry for the loss. For what it's worth, I had a very similar issue with a Pine Snake. The issue started after my snake regurgitated a rat in 2019. The body spasms came about a few days later and he became very lethargic. I waited 2 weeks before I offered food again which he refused. I watched my snake waste away as he refused food for the next 2 months and the spasms persisted. I couldn't stand to see him suffer and was ready to put him out of his misery but a friend convinced me to give him more time. Finally after another month without food this 5 1/2 foot snake ate a hopper and it would be another 3 weeks before he would eat again. I was eventually able to get him back to small rats again and build back his body mass before brumation. Today he is well over 6 feet long and is as healthy as he can be. I would love to know what happened to cause this with Steve and my Pine.
Man this made me sad. Steve is amazing
Im so sry dingo for your loss. I can tell how much you love your snakes. Thank you for educating us on these misunderstood animals.
Maybe ask a vet for a true muscle relaxant. You can crush tablets and mix the powder in voltaren. In mammals, for example, you could try baclofen and neurotic made into a cream.
Neurontin (non neurotic)
the vet can crack it back in place
Praying for Steve and all of you
I cried so much to this video😭 a snake,so beautiful,that touched my heart so so much❤ R.i.p Steve,we will never forget you🐍❤
I am so sorry that you lost Steve. Thanks for showing the medical treatment that you provided, so very gentle and caring. He had a good life with you, a lovely safe home, plenty of good food, and a kind, gentle and respectful human friend. Happy snake life!
Sorry brother!💔
I do not like snakes, they are too scary. I just looked at this snake and it made me feel bad, the animal has lost its instincts, kind of a identity crisis. He must be in pain and he can't even convey his pain. Unfortunately I saw another video today where Dingo confirmed Steve's demise. Rest in peace fellow animal. Strength to Dingo. We need more people like you Dingo. Animals can transform anyone's heart. Keep up the lovely work.
Man sad sad vlog my guy I’m so so sorry your going through this tough time, prayers for Steve I hope it gets better or goes away keep up updated much love Dingo And Family💙🙏🏽
Sorry to hear Steve not well hope he has a speedy recovery
Dearest Dingo and Steve your boy ❤️❤️❤️🐍I'm Sending positive thoughts and prayers straight to Steve ❤️🐍❤️Please Lord 🙏 Help Dingos Boy !!!
Poor Tipan
Snakes are very fascinating animals !
I'm so sorry, mate. I love Steve - such a beautiful snake with a lovely personality. Heartbreaking! I'm a doctor not a vet but it looks like he has increased muscle tone in places from the neck down. If he was a person I'd be worried about injury to the central nervous system such as a stroke - especially given the speed of onset. I really hope it's something reversible instead. At least we know he's in the best possible hands. I can't think of a better place to be if I were a snake.
I will pray for Steve ! I hope he gets better or at least gets more comfortable.
I am so very sorry for the terrible condition of your Taipan.
I'm so sorry prayers 🙏 common ur way!!
Oh so sad sorry dingo
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family ( both human and nonhuman) in this trying time.
do we know anything about Steve yet?
Hope He Survives
Could he be constipated and his stomack contracting ??Hope you find the problem.
hope he comes right.may be get him xrayed .all the best.
How is Steve doin Dingo??? I’m hoping n praying that what u did has helped him... His spine looks as bad as my spine gets when it’s in full spasm mode n that’s the worst pain ever (it’s worse than dislocating (I have Elders Danlos Syndrome so have a lot of dislocations each day) several joints all at the same time).... It cripples u... I have everything crossed for him.. Sending much love n huge hugs to u n the family xxx
Could tell from the get go something wasn’t right. Hope for a good outcome.
It might have to do with his diet he could be deficient in a vital nutrient and that often causes neurological issues and spasms in reptiles
Or maybe could be some kind of tetanus?
Dingo, you take such excellent care of your snakes. I hope and pray that your treatments heal your buddy, Steve. He is a beautiful boy. 🙏
Maybe he pulled a muscle and needs a warm compresses or a warm bath or even a light massage to help his muscles relax?
I'm hoping and praying Steve gets better soon. 🙏
I feel for u man! I cried twice over my pet Tarauntula. We were close, she even came to me, or near me when she was free roaming, always. Sometimes she just rested on my lap and I pet her, often, for like, what seemed hours!^^ Sadly, one day she figured out how to climb what seemd to be an "un climable" wall and made it out a cracked window, couple stories up. She got her humpty dumpty on and yeah, kings horses, men, had same results for her as with Humpty.^^ There was some other things that happened that just, put her through trauma after the fall, and to be honest, I'm not sure if it was the fall that exploded her abdomen, or the idiot people (possibly kids too) grouped around her, probably throwing rocks at her. When I arrived, a guy had her in a bucket (was trying to get her in) with a shovel and she just looked, horrible. I got her, almost killed everybody, and took her in, cleaned her up and made an icu for her. Prayers and hope, but 3 days later, she succumbed to her wounds. That was hard for me. Similar scenerio with a Rabbit years back as well (that's a whole nother story but...^^). Stay strong pimpn, do what chu can, I know u will.
That’s so awful. I truly hope he isn’t in a lot of pain and he fights through what ever is happening to him. He really isn’t himself right now.
Exactly the same thing happened to my Pueblan Milk snake. Fine one day, and (zig-zag) bent and stiff a few days later. No clue how it happened in that 15 yr old snake. Unfortunately dead a few days later.
Thanks for sharing Dingo, can tell how much he means to you. Wishing Steve a full recovery!
How is Thor doing? Has he eaten yet?
Can u have him tested for any bacteria like birds can be?? I’m sure you’ve ruled all that out would just make me nervous with multiple snakes in there
He may have fallen off a branch or perch maybe accidentally and he bruised his spinal cord or whatever they have prayers for you and your animals
Best of luck to u and of course ol Steve-o sucks man but as humans and vets we can only try and give them the best home and food but we all run into problems with health hope everything goes well and he’s just in a slump ur snakes are like my parrot and dog
Why don't you take him to the vets?
Best of Luck Steve! Definitely praying for you. And can't wait for a follow up video
I'm gutted Dingo hes one of your best snakes man,bru you love them how can you not get upset, only a heartless gutless man would not feel nothing,Godbless you and kirsty and your family.

Not good Godbless uou and uour family, bless you bru, from wales an England
Dingo I remember you picking his name,
Oh, I'm so sorry. Snakes are such interesting creatures. I've never prayed for a snake- but I will say a prayer for Steve. God Bless.
I've seen this before in a house snake a fee years ago. Seemed like some kind of degenerative condition. Snake's spine became rigidly kinked. There was never any trauma sustained by the snake. It only ate frozen thawed. Eventually died.
Any news on your boy Steve since I watched that vid can't stop thinking about it really strange situation with the kinks
The Cure is in the name Australian inland tiapan the key word is inland on a cold day it's more than 50c where he lives 70c is a time for hunting
I've never watched any of your videos before and within seconds of you talking about Steve I was instantly reminded of steve irwin. Your movements, tone etc all screamed steve irwin. If you're anything like the legend himself these snacks are very lucky to be under your care.
So sad - hoping for a good outcome!
Poor Steve...I hope he does'nt suffer so much and his illnness is not so serious!!!...I trully hope the medications will cure him and he will be healthy soon!!!
omg, im so sorry dingo to hear and see this. i can tell how emotionally attached you are to this snake and its never easy to see one of your loved one suffer this way, rather its human or not this snake has made a huge impact on your life. in time will heal all brother
