  • Timbers are widespread and don’t need caves and forest, they were all over in Kansas, and their range is shockingly wide bc they can tolerate cold temps. Even Pennsylvania is full of them. That was a black phase, most common, but the recessive gene of the species produces a really cool yellowish phase.

  • Dingo, I've been watching you for 6 months... and it seems as though you're a little less cautious in this video than in most of those in the past. Several times I thought that cobra and rattler were well within striking distance of your body or arms. Were these snakes less dangerous for some reason? IE: removed venom glands, drugged, etc. Love the channel and love you MY BOY; stay safe!

    Rick DierksRick Dierks6 kuukautta sitten
    • Rick Dierks snakes were no where near striking distance from me. I would never work with animals that were drugged or had their fangs/glands removed). We don’t have any venomoids in Africa as far as I know.

  • Dingo, my two children and I love to watch your videos! We live in the Southeast US, so we only have one elapid and five pit vipers to look out for I told my kids, who are too young to remember Steve Irwin , how much your passion reminds me of him. On a side note, in your Top Ten Most Dangerous series, I too thought the Eastern Brown would make the list. Then I went back and watched Steve Irwin’s Most Deadly top ten, and he indirectly supported your case for excluding the Eastern Brown. He was handling a Coastal Taipan when he said that it would be the most dangerous he would encounter on the list and it was listed as number three for him. Stay safe! Please stay safe! May God watch over you and protect you.

  • 12:03 *Taylor's cantil.* I had never seen one before. I tried Googling "tailless cantel," but had one more pass at your accent, Dingo, and figured out you said "Taylor's." ;) It looks like a caudal lurer, with different coloring on the tail (just Googled; it is, but only as a juvenile), so I was justifying the word "tailless" in my mind, thinking people might have not seen the tail in the leaf litter or some dumbass thing like that. XD No. TAYLOR'S CANTIL. Gorgeous snake.

    Ladyhawk's LairLadyhawk's Lair6 kuukautta sitten

      Autigers2010Autigers2010Uukausi sitten
    • @Janel Willis Yeah, I was getting nothing with "tailless," too. :) So, I backed up the video and listened more carefully. Maybe the _Talus cantel_ is a venomous snake that only bites you where the foot meets the leg. ;) Yes, I Googled "talus."

      Ladyhawk's LairLadyhawk's Lair6 kuukautta sitten
    • Thank you for clarifying this. Because I thought he said Talus cantel and this spelling of the word has me pulling up information on the tendons and anatomy of the human foot. Needless to say the word "snake" fit absolutely nowhere in the equation.
