This video documents one of the most harrowing experiences of my life and perhaps the closest I have ever come to dying. People often ask, "Why do you film with these deadly animals?" Hopefully, this video will answer that question.

  • I just wanted to thank everyone for the kind comments of love and support. I unfortunately cannot reply to them this time round as I am out of the country and have poor reception. I do appreciate them though. Thank you

  • Has anyone here ever heard of a very dangerous snake called 'The Leesie Snake'? A friend of mine lives in southern California and he assures me that the California desert is home to one of the world's deadliest snakes, the afore-mentioned 'Leesie Snake'. I can not find any information on this dangerous creature and I think that my friend must be playing a joke on me but he insists that it is fact, he told me that the predatory 'Leesie Snake' has claimed many victims.

  • Fantastic Dingo here...fantastic Gaboon Viper.....I was lucky in two counts, back in 1984...on holiday in SA, mate and I driving from Kruger Park towards Nelspruit...we stopped on side of a main road for a rest...was about to get out of the car, but, for some reason I looked out the window, and right below me was a big female Puff Adder....I would have stepped on her, maybe she would have not reacted, however it was a bit of a surprise, so I was lucky there, but just so lucky to see such a beauty.....thanks for great videos

Your a brave man but I would think twice about your current line of work. I'm sure you can find some way of ensuring your safety and doing what you love. Either way I'm glad you pulled through!!!

  • So since you allergic, could you even be treated savely with antivenom in any case you'd got bit by a venomous snake? As far as I know, antivenom is also a foreign protein in your body acting against the original venom

  • So what would happen if you were bit by a western hognose snake?? I dont know the different classifications but know they are rear fanged venomous. Have thought about getting one for my first snake and everything i have read says they're completely harmless, that at mosttt itll get slightly irritated like a bee sting. As far as i know i have no deadly allergies but would someone with your condition be at risk if bitten by one of these???

  • Deep respect, and feel the love you have for the reptiles and animals of this world. We must protect them, and nourish an attitude of deep love for them all, they exist as creatures of a divine Spirit that loves us all, and wants to explore Itself with each of us...Be careful, and carry on.

  • While laying next to a super-venomous snake for no reason other than to get a good shot... .He begins to explain how much he wants to be with his wife & kids, and how allergic he is to snake venom. Seems to me if you wanna be with them that badly, one would stop cuddling up next to snakes and taking chances for no reason at all. 🤔 That's like talking about how much you love life and love you family.... While you challenge yourself to drive 125mph with your eyes closed and see what's the longest you can keep them closed without hitting anything. WTF?!?! .. WHY???? 😳

  • You are doing what you love to do and is truly admirable. However, when you have a wife and young kids too, my view is you need to tip the scale and put their needs over what you love to do. That is more noble of a man making sacrifice of his love of his career and passion for the greater love that includes his family. Do something along the same line if you need to but less risky, so that their needs are above your own needs.

African wildlife doesn't often get much coverage apart from documentaries, which while fascinating, often skirt 'dangerous' critters, so your perspective and information are gratefully received.
