  • I never used to, but I love black mambas now. Thanks to you, Dingo. You straightened out my misinformed and skewed view on snakes in general. Now I have two firm favorites- Malaysian King Cobras and Black Mambas. But I also really really love Parvioculas. xoxo

  • Question is, have you seen a mamba that has been conditioned to not be as defensive towards humans and if so how long did it take? I’d reckon there aren’t many out there at all. Great content brotha!

  • Sorry if I'm slow, but if the Mamba can shed itself against a rock why not just put a rock in their enclosure? I hear that it's less painful for them, but surely they have evolved for that? It seems here you are just putting yourself in great danger Dingo (?)

  • Dingo, I have a suggestion for you. As you're sweating on your face profusely & continuously wiping your face after you create a free hand, why don't you just wear a sweatband on your forehead? It'd not only help, but would free up both your hands. Gonna try that? Plz?

  • You're very right, they're almost respectful. I'm taken back to the cabbage field rescue video a little while ago. That Mamba had every opportunity to nail you (circumstance, not lack of experience and skill) and almost seemed to know that you were it's answer to safety! As humans we need to show kindness and respect back. You da man, as always. ❤️

  • Hi Dingo, im from Sweden. I used to live in Maputo two years, 1994-1995, so Ive been to youre beautiful country many times. Not since 1995 though. My father lived in Maputo from 1986-1998 so the first time I went to Africa was in 1990 and we travelled from Maputo to Nelspruit and the to a park called Tchukudu Game Lodge for safari. One day we were going around in the bush in one of those typical open landrover jeeps they had. Suddenly the driver stopped and the guide said to us to be still. One our left on the edge of the dirtroad was a huge black mamba, probably more than 3 meters, and was totally crazy. It actuallly lashed out at the vehicle trying to bite it at the front wheels. It was a scary moment actually. Remember it like yesterday. We saw rockpython and puffadders and even a boomslang during the week we spent there, but nothing was as the black mamba experience. That was something else and you really could sence the guides diffrent approach and behavior compared to the other snake encounters of our visit. Love your content. Stay safe.

  • My word Dingo talk about balls of steel knowing that one mistake you make with Kobi its the experience you have of all the years of reading their body movements and their mood that keeps you safe , he is by far the most laid back mamba i have seen and he is beautiful. what a video and what a performance of your skill Dingo i sat not daring to move then it dawned i could do the can can and it would have been safe, thats my way of saying how you draw us into each video when you handle snakes as you say its your wish to bring us along into the video. i cant speak for anyone else but im there in the room

  • Dingo, first of all, I love Black Mambas. Cobey is beautiful! This entire video was very emotional. I cried the entire time for you and Cobey. How he trusted you to no only take the shed off of him, but when you were holding him, it was like he had complete trust in you. Great job and keep up the good work!

    Susie LegeretSusie LegeretUukausi sitten
  • I certainly understand your passion and they are a very beautiful snake, but my favorite are the king cobras. If I may ask, why did you not just let Kobe shed by himself? I know you were not hurting him and I think it would be cool to glide that skin off like peeling someone’s sunburn), but I was still wondering. I have to say I was very tense watching this video even though I trust you know what you are doing, but I want you to know that I would still watch your channel even if you never touched another venomous snake again! I’m not suggesting that you quit what you are doing because I can see and feel how much you love doing this, I just wanted you to know. I (we) love your family and what you all stand for and I (we) always enjoy your videos! Thank You!!! 😄❤️🐬. p.s. sorry I got mushy 😊
