    • Many times scuba diving in Southeast Asia.... Banded sea snakes are very common... Nice an calm snakes... Go about their business and really are not bothered by my presence... One at a dive resort in Sipidan Malaysia on stilts, we had one come up out of the water and look for food... Quite the site, had everybody moving around a bit... Like a skunk in a flower shop so to speak!!!

  • Dingo is the best reptile education out there today. The way he holds himself on his channel makes viewing perfect for all ages. My 4 year old daughter loves reptiles as much as I do and I love that I can watch dingo with her. Its kinda hard to explain. Usually you have to have an adult channel about this and a kids channel. With dingo you don't even realize he's making this for all ages and not just adults. He also has sparked my desire to learn more about conservation and my daughter is learning what conservation means. Keepem coming dingo.

I remember a few years ago when I was about 11 or 12 (17 now) my siblings and i had a debate on which snake had the most potent venom and with our baby brains we drew lines at this snake, the yellow-bellied sea snake, and the boomslang! haha. • I've caught a yellow sea snake that had beautiful brown spots on it it was pure yellow and in the bait shop going through the book to see what it was, it listed it as the most venomous snake found in the gulf of Mexico . I was young dont remember the name and as the years have passed google hasn't shown me the exact one I caught . It wrapped itself up in my line in knots to the point it was cutting itself with the line. My father cut it off my line because I was hand fishing so it died unfortunately but it was beautiful.. such a shame I wasn't older and could've helped instead of the outcome.

  • Dingo I know you say that you'll never be able to replace Steve Irwin, and in some sense you're right. Nobody could every fully replace Steve. But you're the closest thing in the world to him. You have rejuvenated my interest in animal conservation that I had when I was 12 years old watching Steve. On a sidenote, I found a speckled kingsnake in my yard last week, and I was ridiculously excited. I handled it for an hour or two and it was an awesome experience. Found out yesterday that he's actually burrowed himself just at the edge of my property, which is fantastic because he'll keep all the dangerous Copperheads and Cottonmouths away!

  • Looks to me that his tail is shaped and colored much like a lure. Is is possible that it has a multipurpose, as a paddle and a lure?

    Mark JenkinsMark Jenkins6 kuukautta sitten
    • Mark Jenkins I don’t believe so. Typically their method of hunting involves chilling just under the surface of the water and striking the fish below them. However that could very well be another use for their tail

  • Another great video and another beautiful snake! Is the reason there is no antivenom for the snake because so few people are bitten by them?

    RandomizlyRandomizly6 kuukautta sitten
    • Probably that (no need for anti venom), and the fact that they would have to be taken out of the wild for venom extraction, and that might just be not worth the money (you'd have to actually go dive for them).
