  • Hey Dingo. Im a big fan of venomous snakes. Ive always been so intrigued by snakes that can kill a fully healthy person with one bite in a matter of hours. Ive been watching your channel since i came across it a few months ago and i think ive watched pretty much all of your videos in that time frame. I know you're hyper-allergic to the venom of most snakes that you keep, but there's a question i have that i dont think i've heard you address in any videos yet. I hear you say how theres no anti venom at South Africa hospitals because snakes from Australia or the Americas arent native in the country, so it makes handling a those snakes potentially even more dangerous than regularly. With that said, do you actually have your own anti venom on hand? I know it sounds like a dumb question knowing that you're as professional a handler that Ive seen. At the same time i know that snake anti venom is ridiculously expensive, but for my own curiosity, i wonder if someone with as many venomous snakes as you actually has their own anti venom on hand? Keep the videos coming, i'm a big fan from Connecticut, USA. If you don't know what a Connecticut is, its New York's "special" cousin to the east lol. Thanks

  • I have a question I hope someone can answer. Do snakes in the egg not exchange oxygen through the umbilical cord? I am wondering how they drown if the egg gets flipped over.

    Rex TrowbridgeRex TrowbridgeUukausi sitten
    • Jason Anderson - I watch this professional snake catcher in India, Mizra something. He is called by people when they see a snake in or around homes, and he will go catch it and then release them. When he finds snake eggs, he is not careful with them at all and will often turn them over. He Will put the eggs in the container with the mother a lot of times when relocating them. He cares a great deal about snakes, but he must not know about being careful not to turn the egg over so it doesn’t drown. It’s so sad thinking about all the eggs he has moved that he unknowingly killed!

      Rex TrowbridgeRex TrowbridgeUukausi sitten
    • @Jason Anderson wow thank you! 😉

      Tracy LlewellynTracy LlewellynUukausi sitten
    • Between the membranes is a small air cell, also called an air sack, filled with oxygen. As the animal develops it uses the oxygen, which must be replenished, and it also has to release carbon dioxide. How does this happen? Well, if you examine a chicken / snake egg carefully with a magnifying glass, you'll see they have tiny little pores in the shell allowing this to happen. as Dingo said when they come out they attach themselves to the top of the egg so this process of breathing from the sack and expelling co2 through the pores can take place. if they are rolled over this is no longer happening so they will die

      Jason AndersonJason AndersonUukausi sitten
    • Good question, there must be like an air bubble in there. I hope Dingo replies to you with the answer to this great question.

  • Has there ever been a cross between green and the black mamba?

    topentinetopentineUukausi sitten
    • Theoretically it could happen depending on how the mates were set up. If a black mamba impregnated a green mamba the eggs *might* be too big.
