  • Sorr but lionesses do not get close to 500 pounds. That is close to the upper limit for males. Females are around 280-320. 350 or so is a BIG girl.

Without intervention these lionesses could be killed if they prey on livestock or roam too close to people living in the bush! Absolutely amazing!!! I'm thrilled that you all were able to participate in this iconic adventure in wildlife conservation! I can't wait for the next episode! I'm looking forward to many more conservation efforts by Dingo and the whole family!! Woo-hoo!! 👍😃🦁🦁🦁 Love to all from Phoenix Arizona, USA 🇺🇸

  • What a beautiful animal. So very jealous that you are able to do that with a wild Lioness. I've been able to hold a baby tiger a few times which was incredible. I was amazed how strong a 1 month old tiger could be. The same baby I was able to hold 2 more times before she went to a sanctuary to complete being raised for release. I questioned how it would be possible as she was captive born and raised in captivity for 8 months, but supposedly it's a very successful program. I would love to see her now. It was in 2002 in West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Canada, she was part of a live exhibit. I was working in the pet store in the mall and the handlers used to come into the store. I got to know one of the handlers and was invited to go into the cage with the handler with her. She was so playful, just like a big kitten. AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

(Ketamine, Domitor, Valium, Ace........etc??) I am curious what Ryan and them thought about the money we all sent in? I’m just so glad that I can say I was a part of this (a small part, but a part 😄). Thank you for making me feel like I was right there except I didn’t get to pet her.......maybe some day. I just love this channel and I am so happy for you all getting to experience something like this! I can’t wait for part 2!! 😄❤️🐬

  • Here I am this evening, in the SE U.S., safe in my study watching this video - and just watching from afar it's rather nerve-racking. When I was a young fellow, I worked in a major zoo and one day was riding on the back of a pickup truck with a tranquilized adult male tiger being transported for a surgical procedure. Suddenly that tiger's body did an involuntary motion in which its entire body moved. Course that was terrifying, as I thought the animal was coming to, and yet he remained solidly unconscious from the medication. This is why the anesthetist must be exceptionally skilled, perfectly know the animal's body weight, etc., because all involved persons' lives depend upon it! MUCH respect!

  • Some of you may be asking, where's your masks and why aren't you social distancing. Well let me tell you, not even Covid-19 will dare step in the reverse with this lion so there is no need. Your welcome for the answer.
