Indian cobras are some of the most iconic snakes in the world and almost everyone will recognise their unique and special hood marking. They also have a little attitude and this one was no different.

  • I absolutely love this snake!!! What is your favorite cobra species in the world???????

    Dingo DinkelmanDingo Dinkelman25 päivää sitten
    • @shikar babulall Reaching about 10 ft long, those are the LARGEST 'true' Cobra species in the world and are FOUND mainly in the tropical and subtropical rainforest regions of WEST and Central Africa! It also inhabits mangroves in western Africa. (btw, I am from AMerica, born in AMERICA, but, fun fact... I am INDIAN!)

  • That is an extremely beautiful spectacled cobra/ Indian Cobra/Naja Naja! Its hood coloration is magnificent with the black and orange. I've watched many videos of snake catchers removing spectacled cobras from peoples' homes in India, along with monocled cobras, kraits and Russell's Vipers. This cobra is the most beautiful spectacled cobra I've ever seen. Really unique! I'm happy you were able to obtain this cobra, Dingo. Just please be sure to take special care of your allergies and not handle her too much. Also, don't trust her! Monocled cobras are sneaky and aggressive and will go for a bite when you least expect it! Please stay safe, Dingo, Kirstie, children and Sean. This was a great video! 🙂🌄🌵🏜️🇺🇸

  • I am from Sri Lanka and these Cobras are everywhere. But as always, they try to avoid people and only bite them if accidently people go over them or try to harm them. One time I met a woman who said, when she went to the bathroom outside there was one of these Cobra just about feet above her head. She only noticed the Cobra when she was ready to come outside. But that Cobra has never attacked her. I have heard many encounters like that where they just go by. The problem is when people see them they get scared and try to kill them. I always discourage people I know in villages not to kill them. After I started to watch Dingo, I ask everyone not to try to kill any snake.

  • The 2 channels I follow most in reptile world are yours and ''MIRZA MD ARIF'' in Bhadrak India snake rescue. India has some of the most beautiful venomous snake species. Mirza constantly teaching his countrymen Not to go to exorcism because the Snakes tied into their religion so strong that they avoid medical treatment and die. Some of the stories you wouldn't believe, even children being bitten he rescues. The Monocled Cobra's are so angry, and number's in preserve are so low (listed as species of worry)because majority are in populated area's he relocates to forestry preserve land. Your Spectacle sure is a BIG BEAUTY and hue of skin seems might be a border variation as you said Sri Lanka/India as many in Mirza's region has the sunburst hue and much smaller. Glad to see you have Indian Cobra, even though smaller they are among my favourite and seems as they are used to being admired and show off.Amazing collection you enjoy Dingo. The Russell's and Banded Kraits they have in Bhadrak are HUGE and Robust. I did not know, but often the Kraits eat Russell's and Indian Cobra I was told. Your so lucky,I would love to have a few from India. Just because some variations may be smaller, they are just as majestic and beautiful. Those Jumbo Banded Kraits resemble big snake bag's when eating other snakes, amazing look, and I am shocked you do not have a jumbo Banded Krait in your collection. Mirza rescued a monster a few weeks ago,it kept it's head in protected position and as a defense it made it's tail act like a head puppet to distract. It made its tail look around at people and a predator would of fell for it, and got bitten. Almost as if waiting for one to mistake tail for head to come back over itself to tag.. Your Indian Spectacles is well behaved as easily could of snapped at your face the position was in. Wow was that a monster beauty.
