  • I have been watching Dingo for a long time, since back when he had only a few thousand subscribers. Actually I believe the first time I ever saw him it wasn’t even on his channel, but instead he was a guest on Brian Barczyk’s channel when Brian and his crew came to South Africa and of course one thing they did while there was visit Dingo’s facility. Ok so I got a little long winded there in making my point lol but here it is. Even after all that time of watching dingo, he still makes me nervous. He has that thing he does where he lays down on the ground in front of the snake trying to be at its eye level and every time he does it it makes me a nervous wreck. Here’s a man laying down going eye to eye with a venomous snake, and not just any venomous snake either as often times it is a top 5 most venomous snake IN THE WORLD snake. Lol and this man is going straight eye to eye with it. I watched one of his vids just a few days ago when he was doing it with one of his king cobras and it kinda charged him. Scared the crap out of me. Dingo is awesome 👏 👌

  • Most coastal taipans are much more chill than something like an Eastern Brown or a Black Mamba simply because they don't interact with humans nearly as much as other species. Taipans as a whole are nervous snakes but the odds of ever interacting with one in the wild are minuscule!😎

I only wish you had in your possession a few Eastern Brownsnakes because their the cranky one's. Taipan's you can see are very unpredictable but the Eastern Brown when you've upset one enough on a hot day potentially you'd be getting chased across that beautiful green lawn of yours and you'll be running Dingo. 😉

  • We have a new species of Taipan in Australia recently discovered and its venom is likely up in the top 4 along with Coastal taipan, common brown and inland taipan, its the Western desert Taipan (Oxyuranus temporalis)

    Sydney FlyfishingSydney Flyfishing4 kuukautta sitten
    • Oxyuranus temporalis has an estimated subcutaneous LD50 of 0.075mg/kg; for comparison’s sake, the black mamba has been measured at 0.055mg/kg, which puts it just behind the eastern brown snake (0.053mg/kg); only the inland taipan (0.025mg/kg) and the Dubois’ sea snake (0.044mg/kg), respectively, have more toxic venom. That makes the black mamba actually the fourth deadliest by venom toxicity of any snake, on land or in the sea, in the world. There Central Ranges taipan (AKA, the Western Desert taipan) is likely the sixth deadliest by venom toxicity, ranking just in between two sea snakes, both of which also have their geographical distribution within Australian territory; all of the top three terrestrial snakes are, however, found in Australia.

  • ((Sorry to disagree with you Dingo for once 🙏 When you listed West African Forest Cobra as your number 2 most dangerous snake in the world)) but that jerky mamba like movements & it jumping out at you with minimum warning & it’s mood swinging faster than a light bolt, in itself makes this as a tie contender for the no. 2 most dangerous snakes in the world in my list
